Cheetos + Pasta = Cheesta? / Pastos?
Not everyone likes Cheetos, but you must love this fusion dish, Cheetos Linguine.
Last Wednesday, our dear professor Rachel had a surprise for us. When she walked into the classroom, she brought a large box of snacks for our classmates, and we all cheered at this big surprise.
At the end of the class, Rachel gave me two packs of Cheetos and joked that I could use the snacks to make special dishes. I thought, "Why not? Just give it a try!" As a result, I succeeded! My new dish is Cheetos Linguine!
Cheetos Linguine is so delicious; it is creamy and tastes like Carbonara. The reason I chose to use linguine is that it helps the Cheetos cream stick to the pasta. Let me share the recipe so everyone can enjoy their homemade Cheetos Linguine!
Prep time: 20 mins
Cook time: 10 mins
Servings: 4
Ingredients:
Linguine 200g
Cheetos Puffs Soufflés 40g
Butter 40g
Fresh Cream 200ml
Bacon 3-4 pieces
Cheddar Cheese 50g
Salt and pepper
Preparation:
Cook the linguine in boiling salted water.
Put the Cheetos Puffs Soufflés into a Ziplock bag and crush them by hand.
Chop the bacon into small strips.
Slice the cheddar cheese.
Cooking:
Heat the pan and add the butter.
Add the bacon and fry for 1 minute.
Add the fresh cream and crushed Cheetos to make the Cheetos cream sauce, stirring constantly.
Add the linguine and cook for 30-40 seconds. You may add some pasta cooking liquid if the cream sauce is too thick (optional).
Remove the pot from heat, add the cheddar cheese and a pinch of salt and pepper, and stir quickly.
Isn’t it amazing? Enjoy your dish, and I hope you like it!
