Stir-Fried Wagyu Beef with Bell Peppers
Have you ever had a unique food that reminds you of home? Maybe this is the taste of "home." For me, that's exactly what stir-fried wagyu beef with bell peppers represents—a Hong Kong-style home dish that's close to the heart.
In Cantonese cuisine, marinating meat before cooking is a cherished tradition, enhancing its flavor and ensuring each bite is a symphony of tastes and textures. Today, I'm excited to share with you my take on this classic recipe, bringing the rich flavors of tender wagyu beef and crisp bell peppers together in a harmonious stir-fry.

Cook time: 15 mins
Ingredients:
1. Wagyu beef tenderloin
2. Bell pepper
3. Sugar
4. Salt
5. Black pepper
6. Soy sauce
7. Oyster sauce
8. Oil
9. Honey
Preparation:
1. Make half-inch-long cubes out of the chopped beef tenderloin.
2. Season the meat with oil, sugar, salt, black pepper, soy sauce, and oyster sauce.
and stir them to ensure that the meat is evenly coated in seasoning. Let it marinate for about half an hour.
3. Chop the bell peppers into cubes.
Cooking:
Heat the pan and add some oil into it.
Add in the meat. Sear the beef on all sides.
Stir-fry the bell peppers after adding them.
Add some seasonings including a pinch of salt and some honey. If you would like your dish to be sweeter, you can add extra honey.
