As Halloween approaches with plenty of fun events and activities, there’s something for everyone. From haunted houses that might make you scream, to pumpkin patches perfect for fall photos. So, grab your costumes and get ready for some festive fun. Here are three great ways to celebrate Halloween in Toronto!
CANADA’S WONDERLAND HALLOWEEN HAUNT
Halloween Haunt returns to Canada's Wonderland on selected nights. The theme park becomes a scary scream park with exciting attractions that will give you thrills and chills. You can explore seven scary scare zones filled with monsters, enjoy thrilling rides at night, and watch amazing live shows.

The haunt takes place in Canada’s Wonderland, located in Vaughan, north of Toronto, with more than 200 attractions including 18 roller coasters.

TORONTO LIGHT FESTIVAL
Halloween Nights of Lights is back for the 5th time with over 1.5 million creative light decorations, glowing pumpkins, and many more surprises. It takes place at Pumpkinville, featuring giant pumpkin sculptures and other fun decorations.
The Toronto Light Festival features beautiful light displays in the distillery district during Winter, with various ticket options for adults and children. It is worth noting that there are limited tickets per date and timeslot, so be sure to purchase them in advance as dates sell out fast.
- Adult Pass (ages 13 and up): $20.99
- Child Pass (ages 2-12): $15.99 (Children under 1 are free)
- Family 4-Pack: $69.99 (2 adults and 2 children)

The tours are available from Thursday to Saturday. Some dates are, however, offered upon request. You can also join a guided tour of the festival for 75 to 90 minutes which starts at 6:30 pm.

LEGENDS OF HORROR
Legends of Horror is back once again at Casa Loma where behind the castle walls, nightmares come to life. Dare to enter the haunted grounds and witness legends come to life, and get ready to face your darkest fears at Legends of Horror.
Every October, Casa Loma hosts an event called Legends of Horror. The audience walks through a 2 km trail commencing in the lower gardens of Casa Loma and goes through the castle’s tunnels and hidden areas that are usually closed to the public.
You can locate Legends of Horror at 1 Austin Terrace. The entrance is at the Northeast Corner of Walmer Rd and Davenport Rd.
Family hours with no actors run from 5 PM to 6:30 PM, October 18th to November 2nd. These hours are designed for families with young kids and are less scary, with no live actors. Tickets cost $45 online and $50 onsite.
Standard Hours are from 7 PM until late. From October 3rd to October 17th, tickets are $45 online and $50 onsite. From October 18th to November 2nd, prices increase to $55 online and $60 onsite.
