About Polsen Pier

Polson Pier is one of my favourite spots in Toronto to visit for a nice panoramic view of the city’s iconic skyline.

Located in the industrial Port Lands on the Toronto waterfront, it is quite close to the Distillery District and Cherry Beach.

However, the area is undergoing several industrial changes right now, more like construction site, so the amenities are limited for visitors.

That being said, it's well worth the trip if you're searching for a quiet place to chill and relax for a little while with a breathtaking view of the Toronto skyline!

As for me, I love the sound of moving water bodies.
It makes me feel peaceful and happy!

Well, just don't plan on turning your visit into a full day. This spot is more like a quick stop to take some pictures worthy for your Instagram!

About Spadina Museum

I'm a huge fan of the Spadina Museum! This place is particularly for those seeking photogenic locations for their Instagram feeds.

There is no admission fee for this — it’s completely free to visit. The museum itself is a magnificent historic mansion with skillfully preserved architecture and decor.

Going on the inside, it’ll make you feel like you time travelled back in the 1920s and 1930s.

Also, the gardens in there truly set it apart as a gem. Particularly during the spring and summer seasons, when everything is in full bloom, they are truly magnificent. The colourful flowers and aesthetic walkways make for the ideal photo backdrop.

Furthermore, there's quite a stellar view from the top of the ravine as well.

I'm in love with Toronto's Baldwin Steps. They really are a hidden treasure for taking Instagram-worthy pictures. First of all, the steps have a rich historical background, having been constructed in the 19th century. The stone and concrete construction gives them a timeless, rustic charm that’s perfect for photos.

The amazing view from the top of the Baldwin Steps is the standout feature.

The stunning Spadina Museum is also visible as you ascend. Most importantly, the steps provide an amazing view of the city, especially in the fall when the surrounding trees change colours.
